I find my mind and my body in two different directions at the moment. I can't look at my work right now. I can't hardly sit still long enough to write this. I just want to be under the covers. I'm slipping back into the deep dark void hole.

When taking a photograph of the farmhouse that my father was born in, it made me sad that the family had lost a hold on this land. To look at the size of this small farm it is hard to believe that 9 children and many cousins were raised here at one time. My grandmother raised them mostly by herself, as she also drove the local school bus. She had her hands full. She had 5 boys and 4 girls and all the other kids that were shipped to her for the summer. Look at our mansions today that hold a family of 3, and wonder...... how did we ever get so materialistic? Then ask yourself another question, why are we a world that is so full of stress?

This is the first time this artist has shared her work with anyone. I have a major fear of rejection and have been afraid to show anything I have done. Only family have been able to view my photography until this photo here. I think there is some excellence in it and I just love the mood to it. In print it takes on depth and space. It's expresses some of the moods I feel on certain days.
